The Warehouse Associate position is located in Nipomo, CA and is temp-to-hire. Hours are from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. The rate of pay starts at $20/hr.
**This position requires a background check and drug test.**
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate with internal/external customers/vendors
- Receive, inspect & document merchandise for accuracy and quality.
- identify any missing, lost or damaged material immediately.
- Ensure that all merchandise for shipment is packaged security and labeled for shipping.
- Manage Inventory & Warehouse with appropriate care. Perform accurate inventory check/cycle counts.
- Maintain and operate location vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and delivery vehicles.
- Obtain and process return authorizations for repairs and/or defective materials.
- Make daily deliveries to customers & obtain appropriate signed delivery documents.
- Prepare daily paperwork and turn into office staff.
- Additional duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Job related experience preferred
- Computer system experience preferred
- SAGE experience preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Steel-toed boots are required
