The Packer Operator position is with a very well-established company on the Central Coast of California – Lompoc, CA – a town surrounded by mountainous landscapes and known for its local wineries. The position is Full Time and Long Term. The schedule is 24/7 rotating shifts (7 days on/1 days off, 7 days on/2 days off, 7 days on/4 days off) and shift hours are 11:30pm-8am, 7:30am-4pm, and 3:30pm-12am. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Retrieve bag, stretch film and pallets from inventory
- Maintain inventory
- Operate machinery
- Operate forklift
- Stack and palletize products manually and with forklift
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Steel toe boots are required, but company will reimburse up to $230 with receipt.
