The Packager – Filling role is a full-time, temporary position expected to last around 3 months. Hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Mondays through Fridays (with possible overtime). The pay rate for this role is $16.90/hr. If you are qualified and interested, submit your resume today!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and/or package products according to work order specifications such as configuration, weight, volume and labeling requirements.
  • Perform job tasks in accordance with quality standards ensuring consistency of product quality and quantity.
  • Perform set-up, including minor equipment adjustments, for jobs assigned.
  • Performs Filling job tasks:
    • Retrieves incoming materials to begin assembly
    • Assembles various plastic containers, such as, syringes, bottles, and jars
    • Fills containers with professional bonding and paste products
    • Weighs completed containers for accurate weight requirements
    • Places labels on containers as finished product to be transferred to the Kit area
    • Documents production results and requirements as instructed
    • Verifies line clearance prior to beginning next order and signs off Station Clearance Form
  • Performs Kitting Job Tasks:
    • Adheres labels on the kit packaging
    • Places various bonding products and pamphlets or instructions into various sections of preformed plastic trays as defined in the drawing specifications
    • Inserts smaller components in specified plastic bags to then be laced in the appropriate tray sections
    • Places tray cover and product sleeve on package for final Shrink Wrap processing to be shipped
    • Documents production results and requirements as instructed
    • Verifies line clearance prior to beginning next order and signs off Station Clearance Form
  • Maintain work area functionality and safety by keeping the work area clean and in order.
  • Adhere to company and departmental policies and practices as well as ISO, safety, and security measures.
  • Other duties assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED and one-year related experience
