We are currently recruiting for an Office Staff Assistant position in Lompoc, California. This is a full-time temporary role lasting approximately three months. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm and the pay rate is $27.02 an hour.

**Must have a valid CA Driver’s License. If hired a DOJ & FBI background check, live scan process, and a TB Test will be conducted. **

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers via phone and pass to appropriate agencies.
  • Document filing and record keeping.
  • Assist customers with completion of applications, forms, and other paperwork.
  • Compute/verify fees, data, and payments.
  • Assist with distribution of payroll.
  • May assist with coordination of travel arrangements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Three years of clerical/secretarial work experience.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Ability to use office equipment (fax, phone, copier, etc.).
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Great written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to type 50 WPM.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
