Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and Board of Directors by preparing board meeting agendas, staff reports, and related documents.
- Maintain and update meeting and distribution lists; assist the General Manager with distributing agendas and materials.
- Serve as Clerk of the Board, attending board and committee meetings as needed and assisting with the preparation of meeting minutes.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company website.
- Manage and distribute incoming mail.
- Organize and maintain files and assist with filing and distributing daily and monthly reports.
- Oversee the district office during designated hours and manage calls.
- Support the General Manager with purchasing, reporting, licensing, and record-keeping for district supplies and equipment.
- Help maintain detailed records and logs related to activities and maintenance.
- Coordinate district activities with outside agencies.
- Respond to public inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license
- Minimum of two years of administrative or financial experience
- Public agency experience is a plus
- Fundamental computer knowledge and proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills
