The Material Handler – Final Assembly role is Full Time and Temp to Hire, with the hours from 5 am to 1:30 pm, Mondays through Fridays (applicants must be open to working overtime and weekend shifts).  The pay rate for this role is $16.50/hr.  If you are qualified and interested, submit your resume today!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Verify counts and identities upon receipt from Gateway
  • Move material in a timely manner as required, including the receiving, storing, picking, and outside container labeling of the materials to be inventoried as components or staged as picked work order inventory
  • Inform supervisor of any shortages of receipts
  • Safely utilize various material handling equipment in performance of job duties
  • Kit production work orders and issue materials as directed or required
  • Maintain accurate physical inventory on all materials, components, and subassemblies stocked in the stores location
  • Monitor stock levels and generate orders, minimize stockouts
  • Advise Document Associate of needed department stock replenishment from Main Warehouse inventory. Prepare and deliver material requisitions to data entry for processing
  • Execute and monitor computer transactions to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Operate a forklift and pallet jack in performance of job duties
  • Maintain and set up cartridge fillers in a timely manner as required
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Adhere to company and departmental policies and practices as well as ISO, safety, and security measures
  • Recharge electrical material handling equipment at the end of shift or as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently, with little to no supervision, as well as on a team
  • Self-motivated and Self-starter
  • Ability to properly communicate through both oral and written correspondence
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Basic math skills
  • High School Diploma or GED and one year of related experience
