We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator with a fantastic, dedicated company that takes pride in their people and their products. The Marketing Coordinator position is located in San Luis Obispo, CA and is part time and temp-to-hire. Hours are from 10am to 2pm, Monday through Friday (Flexible hours and working from a home office are allowed). The rate of pay is $30/hr.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implements marketing and advertising campaigns as defined in the marketing plan
- Develop and/or coordinate the creation of marketing materials for new and existing products and services
- Research and collect data relative to competitive product pricing, market share, advertising and product characteristics
- Provide marketing support to dealers, distributors and retailers
- Plan and prepare for trade shows and marketing events
- Interact with customers on a walk-in or call-in basis
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with graphic design software
- Communication skills must be professional demonstrated both verbally and in a written manner
- Strong organizational, research and planning skills
