We’re seeking a Maintenance Worker to join one of our clients in Santa Maria, California! This is a full-time, temporary position, with a schedule of 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, and a pay range of $24 to $26 an hour based on experience. If you’re interested, please send us your resume today!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the property and monitoring progress and workflow of projects assigned to the maintenance department.
- Ensure competitive pricing of services used for turnover and contract services and creating a sound relationship with vendors and contractors.
- Diagnose problems and repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools, carpentry dry wall, exterior structural and appliances.
- Inspect apartments before and after move in and move out.
- Conducts pre-move out inspections and completes all supporting documents
- Performs preventative maintenance inspections as well as apartment turnover schedules.
- Responds to resident maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensures common areas are inspected daily and items needing attention are addressed.
- Inspects all property grounds to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade is required.
- Ability to perform carpentry, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and plumbing repairs.
- Must be able to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints and maintain the highest level of customer service.
- Must comply with all relevant safety regulations.
