This is a temporary position lasting approximately 6 months with a payrate of $26.46 an hour. Hours are from 7am to 4:30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Facilities Technicians in the maintenance of facility equipment.
- Able to assist in performing preventative maintenance program.
- Support in repair of mechanical and building facilities.
- Comply with safety rules, regulations and OSHA requirements
- Other duties assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of USA flag etiquette
- Willing and able to learn new technical skills including, but not limited to, 120 VAC wiring, wood construction and plumbing
- Creative and self-motivated; Able to work independently and well with others
- Working Conditions: Manufacturing environment
- Essential Physical Tasks: Squat, climb, reach outward and overhead, kneel, bend and reaching throughout normal shift; Stand for long periods of time; Lift up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Mental Abilities: Requires ability to perform effectively under stress for extended periods of time in hazardous situations; interact/communicate with others; comprehend and follow directions; work both independently and as a team member; make decisions and judgments; maintain flexibility in performing a variety of tasks, pay attention to detail, follow safety rules; operate vehicles and equipment safely; read and comprehend manuals and blueprints, math/geometric skills, basic computer skills.
- Use of senses:
- Talking: Able to communicate with co-workers and to provide clear, accurate communication.
- Hearing: To receive directions from co-workers. Ability to hear warning devices and abnormal noises.
- Vision: To safely operate equipment and use tools while doing installations or performing repairs. Requires good spatial ability/depth perception, night vision, and sufficient color discrimination to distinguish color-coding or shade variations.
- Smell: Able to detect various gases. Fuel exhausts, burning of electrical equipment.
- Equipment Used: Small and medium sized hand tools, pneumatic tools, forklifts, cranes, ladders, and pallet jacks. Lifting equipment such as shackles, chains, and other rigging.
- Use of various equipment such as: Fork Trucks and Lifting equipment, hoists and jib cranes a variety of power and hand tools.
