The Customer Service Representative position is located in Lompoc, CA, and is part-time and long-term temporary, with a potential for temp-to-hire. Hours are from 8am to 2pm, Monday through Friday with a pay rate of $26.60/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of basic clerical and administrative work with extensive customer contact
  • Perform basic accounting tasks and routines
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks and preparing financial statements
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of:
    • Basic accounting methods and procedures
    • General office procedures including the use of basic office equipment
    • Handling of confidential information
    • Proper office and telephone etiquette
    • Records and filing techniques
  • Ability to:
    • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing
    • Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during the course of work, particularly customers
    • Prepare clear and concise documents
    • Properly format and transcribe various communications
    • Type a minimum of 35 wpm using word processing programs; use spreadsheets and database systems
    • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Any combination of experience and education totaling to:
    • Two years of satisfactory employment as a customer service representative or equivalent position
    • Satisfactory completion of two years course work in business administration, liberal arts, or related field at the community college level
    • One year of customer service work and satisfactory completion of one-year course work in business administration, liberal arts, or related field at the community college level.
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications are a plus
