We are currently recruiting a Controller Assistant in Santa Maria, California. This position is a full-time temp-to-hire role. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a pay range is $30 to $40 an hour (DOE). If you are qualified and interested, submit your resume now!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular account reconciliation and auditing, identifying, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain internal control and effective accounting systems and policies for the set-up of the financial operation.
- Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, preparing reports and projections based on this analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of financial data analysis
- Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
- Experience in streamlining accounting processes
- Exemplary history of financial project management
