We’re currently looking for a Clerk I for a company that is all about helping people. This position is located in the city of Santa Maria, CA, and is open ended. The schedule is 8am to 5pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:30am to 4:15pm on Fridays. The pay rate for this position is $22.75 an hour.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a supply of office forms and distribute the forms to the general public
- Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate personnel
- Prepare outgoing mail and deliver to the post office
- Receive and date stamp all incoming mail
- Operate a variety of office equipment such as a copier, fax machine, PC, and postage machine
- Maintain a variety of logs and files
- Serve a vulnerable, special needs population with kindness, courtesy, and professionalism
Skills & Qualifications
- Two years of customer service experience desired
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- Ability to speak and read English/Spanish
- Ability to effectively serve customers and clients, demonstrating fairness, patience, compassion, and respect
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Client database software (YARDI a plus)
- Knowledge of ADA regulations on reasonable accommodations and equal access to housing programs
