The Bookkeeper position is a temp-to-hire opportunity located in Santa Ynez, CA. The schedule is flexible and part-time, ranging from 24 to 30 hours a week. The rate of pay is $20 to $25 an hour.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs agency reporting duties and bookkeeping.
  • Supervise the tax return assembly process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual client sales and property tax reports, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Implement and maintain an efficient document management system, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility
  • Efficiently assign tasks to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
  • Assists with general business operations as needed to best position the company for success and excellent client service.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; but not required for consideration.
  • Ideally proficient in Microsoft Office, Lacerte, CanopyTax, CFS, Zoom, QuickBooks, WebEx, Adobe, Slack, and Track1099.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
