We’re seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join one of our valued clients in Santa Maria, CA. This is a temporary position covering a leave of absence and has a pay range of $20 – $23 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5 PM. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records, including sales and expenses.
- Create Invoices after Job is complete.
- Pull unbilled reports and bill according to project/client specifications.
- Job Costing and tracking via Foundation and spreadsheet.
- Production home billing and production tracking spreadsheet to show what is completed.
- Prepare Preliminary Lien notices for all jobs and Process Preliminary Lien Notice requests from subcontractor/vendors; print and file electronically,
- Prepare T&M PO requests, prepare deposits, and update billing sheets.
- Research billing issues as needed.
- Scan and file billing packets, follow up on POs, and prepare AR aging reports.
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical).
- Provide administrative support to relevant teams.
- Assist with general office tasks and receptionist duties.
- Attend weekly meeting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Skilled in managing financial records and data entry
- Proficient with spreadsheets, accounting software, and MS Office
- Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service
- Able to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
