We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk with a fantastic company in Santa Maria that hopes to add YOU to their team! This position is full-time and temp to hire and is located in Santa Maria, CA. The hours are from 7am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday with some Saturday work required. The pay rate for this position is $18 to $20 an hour (DOE). Benefits if hired by the client include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, vacation/sick pay, 6 holidays, 401K after first year, and possible bonuses.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Code & enter accounts payable for all harvesting, packaging, and cooling activity
- Code & enter sales settlements for all harvesting activity
- Update packaging information in database as needed, ensure monthly inventory is collected, and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Assist with cost reporting on harvesting activity
- Assist accounting department as needed with any clerical help
Skills & Qualifications
- Office experience 1+ years
- Computer proficient – Microsoft Office, 10-key, & typing
- Knowledgeable with Excel spreadsheets including creating, editing, and inputting
- Bilingual – English & Spanish
- Analyze and resolve accounting issues
- Manage and complete multiple tasks accurately and by deadline
- Organization and maintaining accurate systems
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve established outcomes
- Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of this job
- Strong communication skills
