We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Clerk with an established company that shows both their work and customers the highest regard. The Accounting Clerk position is located in Santa Maria, CA and is temp-to-hire. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, though the client is also open to a part-time schedule. The rate of pay ranges from $20 to $25/hr (DOE).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform basic accounting/administrative duties including:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- Account Reconciliations
- Various related tasks and special projects
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of financial recordkeeping
- Proficiency in Apple OS, Pages, Numbers, Excel, QuickBooks and ESCAPIA preferred
- Ability to work independently to resolve problems and handle multiple tasks
- Must possess strong attention to detail and proficient data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Some related college courses preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not mandatory
