The Maintenance Coordinator position is full time and temp to hire, located in Santa Barbara, CA. Hours are from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with a payrate of $22.50-$23.50/Hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collecting and processing client payments and depositing them to the correct accounts
- Research unprocessed payments
- Deposit payments in the bank
- Primary liaison with bank regarding bank software, hardware or deposit issues
- Processing payments returned for any reason
- Count and reconcile laundry money to correct accounts
- Monitoring and updating resident accounts
- Assisting clients understand complex accounts, many with multiple payors
- Process monthly charge adjustments
- Make collection calls when necessary
- Process new leases and changes in tenancy
- Maintain property insurance policies in Excel and Appfolio
- Follow up with insurance carriers to assure coverage in accordance with management agreement
- Support front office greeting clients and answering phones when needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior accounting experience.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills, flexible and positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Strong math skills to audit complex tenant records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Appfolio a plus.
- Knowledge of property insurance a plus
