We are currently recruiting a Material Handler for a company that cares about their employees and hopes to foster their employee’s knowledge through continual training and education and also by staying up to date with only the latest and greatest industry trends and innovations!
The Material Handler Position is located in Buellton, CA. This is a full-time position that can transition into temp-to-hire for the right fit. The pay range is $22-$24 an hour based on experience, and the schedule is 8:30am to 4:30/5:00pm, Monday through Thursday.
**This position requires a drug test**
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Move, track, and organize products and materials in the warehouse.
- Pull parts for active work orders.
- Update inventory in database.
- Assist production department during downtime.
- Operation of a forklift inside production building.
- Learns and adheres to safety rules for the work area as it pertains to handling materials and equipment.
- May be required to wear special garments in controlled manufacturing environments which may include synthetic material coveralls, beard covers, bouffant caps, booties and/or powder free gloves.
Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift Certification is highly preferred.
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 40lbs, and reach above head.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
