We’re seeking an Electronics Assembler to assist one of our clients in Santa Maria, California! This is a full-time, temporary position (approximately 2-3 months), with a schedule of 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday, and a pay range of $18 to $19 an hour. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Soldering of PCB components
- Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies.
- Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
- Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel or printed wiring boards.
- Connect component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
- Manufactures cables and wiring harnesses using copper wire, co-axial cable, twin-axial cable and fiber-optic cable.
- Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
- Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color coding parts and assemblies.
- Performs online inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Soldering experience required.
- Ability to follow instructions
