We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee daily operations, coordinate team workflows, and support executive leadership. This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity located in the Santa Ynez Valley. Hours are from either 7am to 3:30pm or 7:30am to 4pm. The rate of pay ranges from $26 to $35 an hour (DOE).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage daily calls, email communications, and follow-ups.
- Supervise the processing and documentation of all administrative tasks.
- Maintain organization of all inbound/outbound mail, scanning client documents, and distributing to appropriate team members or files.
- Monitor task completion and workflow progression.
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies.
- Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances.
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the accountant of errors.
- Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Processing Payroll
- Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years in bookkeeper experiece.
- Proven ability to lead a team, manage workflows, and implement efficient systems.
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of engaging with clients and team members with professionalism.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Suite (to include Excel), QuickBooks.
